Broken deploy, works locally
A Cascade edit to a build config, an env var, or a dependency runs fine on your machine and fails in production. We fix the build, pin the versions, and stand up a real deploy pipeline.

Vibe coding rescue · Windsurf
Windsurf’s Cascade agent edits across your whole codebase at once, which gets a real product built fast and then makes it hard to tell what still holds together. Windsurf projects stall the way Cursor projects do, deeper codebase, more moving parts, and nobody has reviewed the sum of the agent’s changes. That review is what we do.

The Windsurf wall
Windsurf is Codeium’s AI IDE, and Cascade is its agent: it reasons across files, runs terminal commands, and applies sweeping multi-file changes on its own. The typical Windsurf rescue is not a beginner, it is a founder or technical PM who got a real product most of the way built, accepted a long stream of agent edits, and now cannot confidently ship because the architecture drifted with each big change and the tests were always going to be next week.
The stall points are concrete: a deploy that broke after the agent changed a build config or a dependency, environment and auth variables that work locally but not in production, dependency versions that drifted out of sync, and security decisions the demo never forced, open database rules, keys in the client, permissions enforced only in the UI. We read the whole thing with senior eyes, fix the broken deploy and the data layer, converge the architecture, finish the stalled features, and set up the pipeline that turns the repo into a live product on your domain.
A Cascade edit to a build config, an env var, or a dependency runs fine on your machine and fails in production. We fix the build, pin the versions, and stand up a real deploy pipeline.
Cascade applies sweeping multi-file changes, and after a few of them three patterns coexist and nothing is fully reviewed. We converge it to one structure so changes stop having surprise blast radius.
Auth and data rules that pass the happy path but leave tables open, keys in the client, and permission checks in the UI. We enforce access on the server and get secrets out of the bundle.
Watch it work
Fixed price, milestone payments, and a written audit before you commit to anything.
Audit, 48 hours
Send repo or tool access. You get a plain-language report of what is solid, what is dangerous, what is unfinished, and a fixed price for the rest.
Fix and harden
Security first: auth, data access, secrets, rate limits, payments. The invisible work that keeps your launch out of the news for the wrong reason.
Finish and launch
The stalled features get built, the deploy pipeline gets set up, and the app goes live on your domain with monitoring, alerts, and daily backups.
Stay if you want
Every rescue includes 30 days of fixes. Many founders keep us on afterwards for the roadmap, through Resident™, our monthly retainer.
The checklist
Yes. Windsurf works on an ordinary repo, so there is nothing to export, we audit the code the Cascade agent wrote and continue from there with proper environments and CI. It is standard TypeScript or JavaScript underneath, exactly what our engineers ship daily.
Almost always an environment gap: a variable that only exists on your machine, a dependency version that drifted, or a build config the agent changed without the production side in mind. We reproduce the failure, fix the class of problem behind it, and add a pipeline so a bad deploy can be rolled back instead of taking the app down.
Usually not without a review. Like any agent-built app, the common holes are row-level security never turned on, API keys shipped in the frontend, and permission checks that run only in the browser, none of which show up in a demo. The 48-hour audit tells you exactly which your app has and gives you a fixed price to close them.
